Frequently asked questions

  • NAATI (National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters) is Australia’s sole government-recognized body for accrediting translators and interpreters. NAATI certification ensures translations meet the standards required for official use in Australia and New Zealand.

  • An extract translation provides only the essential information from a document, omitting minor details. This type of translation is often accepted for evidence submission to official Australian bodies. We recommend confirming with the relevant authority if an extract translation will be sufficient.

  • A full translation includes every detail from the original document, carefully replicating its format. Due to the level of detail, it generally takes more time and costs more. For full translations, either order via the button above, or contact us via the inquiry form.

  • Self-service translation is a cost-effective option that saves time and money. Through the AcudocX platform, you can upload your document and input essential English details yourself. A translator will then verify and correct the information as needed. The final product is a certified extract translation, suitable for most visa and migration purposes in Australia.

  • This depends on your document’s purpose and the requirements of the receiving authority. Please confirm with the relevant organization to determine which option is appropriate. Generally, legal documents require full translations.

  • For self-service extract translation requests made during business hours, we strive to review and certify within 12-24 hours.

For full translations, turnaround can be anywhere from 1-3 business days. Please get in touch if you have an urgent request, and we can try to accomodate your deadline.
